Hi! I\u2019m Andrea Rojas, a proud CCLA foundation member and mother of a 6th grader and a 3year old who will soon become part of this amazing school. I chose CCLA because it beautifully supports my goal of raising my son to be bilingual and bicultural, values that have opened so many doors in my own life. Through the foundation, I\u2019m dedicated to fundraising so all of our children can enjoy richer extracurricular activities and extra classroom support. When I\u2019m not volunteering, you can find me camping, cheering my son at a soccer game or enjoying a family movie night at home.

Hi, my name is Brenda and I have three children. I chose CCLA because it is a bilingual school where my children can learn my language and embrace my culture. I was a member of the charter renewal committee, and through that experience, I realized how important it is for parents to be involved in the decision-making process for the well-being of our children.
I\u2019m excited to be part of the Foundation and to advocate for our students, support our families, and help create meaningful memories and opportunities for the children in our community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My name is Ria Jimenez. I am excited to serve as Treasurer of the CCLA Foundation Board. With 15 years of experience in banking, I bring financial expertise and passion for supporting our students and foundation\u2019s mission. As a proud parent of a Kindergartener and 3rd<\/sup> grader, I am grateful to be a part of a community that celebrates bilingualism, cultural connection, and the success of our students. I look forward to continuing to learn and improve my Spanish as my children continue to grow. In my spare time, I enjoy going on adventures in nature with my family, and attending sporting events. I look forward to meeting you at a school event or volunteering with you to help support our students.

My name is Alma Magall\u00f3n and I am a proud CCLA parent with a daughter currently in 3rd grade and a son who recently graduated after attending CCLA from kindergarten through 8th grade. I am a strong believer in CCLA\u2019s mission of developing students who are bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural\u2014by choice.
As a member of the CCLA Foundation Board, I am passionate about helping create memorable experiences for students by supporting fundraising efforts that provide enriching extracurricular activities and opportunities for every child to thrive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I joined the Foundation because I want to be actively involved in my children\u2019s education and serve as a voice for the students and families at CCLA. I look forward to supporting our school community and helping make a positive impact.

My name is Irais Santana and I have four children, ages 18, 16, 13, and 4. I have been a parent at this school since it opened. My daughters graduated from CCLA, and I currently have one son in 8th grade. I have volunteered for several years. This is my first year as a member of the foundation, and I am very excited to be able to support, contribute ideas, and meet the families.

My name is Janet Fuentes-Barragan, foundation board member. I am the parent of a 1st and 3rd grader, as well as a 2 year old who will become part of this beautiful community in the future. I decided to join the foundation to support the amazing group of parents who, like myself, want to enrich the education of all our students while supporting our wonderful teachers along the way. 
During my free time, I enjoy going on long walks and listening to music. I also love spending time with my family, and visiting new places together. I look forward to meeting more parents at school events, and if you are ever able to volunteer , even for a short time frame, please don\u2019t hesitate to reach out. We always welcome parents who want to support our school and children.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hola, mi nombre es Adilene. I am a parent to a first grader, fourth grader & 8th grader. We chose this school to be a part of this amazing school community. Donde nuestros hijos pueden disfrutar de la escuela pero tambi\u00e9n sumergirse en nuestra cultura. Having our kids become bilingual and bicultural is keeping our cultura alive through them. Having access to baile folkrocio and mariachi among other diverse programs all thanks to the parents who make this available for our students. Hi, my name is Veronica Botello and I am a proud mother of three and a longtime volunteer in the school community. After watching my eldest daughter graduate from the K-8 program in 2023, I continue to support my two younger children who are currently attending CCLA\/SRLA. This year, I am excited to deepen my involvement by joining the Foundation as a board member, assisting with fundraising and event organization. In my free time, you can find me cheering on my kids at their sports games, enjoying the outdoors, or spending quality time with my family and friends.
